Flying Home
Tuesday - August 22nd 2023
It was time to go home again. Today we slept in and then we had breakfast.
Originally we planned to spend the morning at the pool, but unfortunately due
to inclement weather they closed the pool. At least we were able to jumo into
the water one last time. So we spent the rest of the morning in our room
relaxing before heading out to the Food Republic Food Court for lunch. Of
course we got the vegan fried chicken rice again. Afterwards we returned to
the hotel, where we collected our luggage, checked out and then we were on our
way to the airport. There a lovely employee from Singapore Airlines booked us
in an earlier flight back to Singapore so that we didn't have to spend the
whole afternoon at Kuala Lumpur Airport. After we had coffee at Starbucks we
boarded the plane and an hour later we landed at Singapore Changi Airport.
Since we had a couple of hours to kill until our flight to Munich departed, we
had a sandwich at Subway, got fries at McDonald's, enjoyed a couple of beers
and bought parfumes before finally flying home. Back in Munich we arrived
early morning. After we collected our luggage, we had coffee at Starbucks and
got a snack at a bakery before driving home to Salzburg.
