It has become a sort of a tradition and so each year we visit a samll local themepark called Fantasiana for Halloween. This year was no exception and we spent a great Saturday afternoon at the park. Fantasiana was beautifully decorated for Halloween. When we arrived we did the bigger rides first and so we headed directly to Fridolin's Zauberexpress, the park's family coaster. Of course we had to try some snacks as well, like donuts and pretzels. Then we rode some smaller rides and the park's other big coaster before having a couple of drinks while enjoying the warm autumn weather.

Disneyland Paris 2023 - Part 1

Travel Day

Our annual Disneyland Paris Trip started pretty early when we hit the road to Paris. After a nine hours drive we finally arrived at Disneyland Paris in the afternoon. Like last year we stayed at Disney's Newport Bay Club. Once we checked in and unloaded our luggage in our room, we headed to Disney Village to get something to eat. We ended up at Vapiano, where we ordered pizza and pasta. The rest of the afternoon we spent checking out the shops and getting drinks and nachos at the Sports Bar. Before returning to our hotel we stopped at Skyline Bar inside Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel for cocktails.

Disneyland Paris 2023 - Part 2

Our first full day at Disneyland Paris started with breakfast at Starbucks, where we got coffee and croissants. With the coffees in our hands we headed to Disneyland Park nad thanks to staying at a Disney hotel we were aloowed into the park before the day guests. Our first stop was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, our most favourite attraction at Disneyland Paris. After the wildest ride in the wilderness we walked over to Discoverland to ride Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. Next was Autopia, which we hadn't done since our first visit and to our surprise Autopia was quite entertaining. And so was Nautilus, a walk through attraction themed after Jules Verne's famous book. Since Hyperspace Mountain had a very short wait time, we got in line and blasted off into the Star Wars universe.

Now it was time to check out Fantasyland. Our first stop was It's A Small World, another classic Disney attraction. Fantasyland was already very crowded and so we walked over to Adventureland, where we rode Pirates of the Caribbean. For today we had a reservation at Silverspur Steakhouse in Frontierland and at noon our table was ready. We both got the plant based option with the skewer and rice. For starter we shared a salad and for dessert we got an ice cream sundae. After lunch we just strollead around the park and checked out the merchandise in the shops before returning to the hotel to relax a bit.

In the afternoon we got a couple of drinks at the Sports Bar in Disney Village before heading back into Disneyland Park for dinner. At Casa De Coco in Frontierland we ordered plant based burritos with fries, because we had them already last year and they were really good. The rest of the evening we spent on Main Street USA drinking champagne.
