Langkawi Skybridge

Yesterday we booked a private taxi to see
Langkawi Skybridge. After breakfast we got picked up and about half an hour later we arrived at
a small touristy village. First we purchased our tickets for the ropeway and
soon we were on our way to the top of the mountain. Unfortunately it was
raining today, so we didn't expect to see a lot since the fog was really
thick. At first we were disappointed, but once in a while the rain and the
clouds cleared and we were rewarded with some fantastic views over Langkawi's
beautiful mountain range. Since the rain got stronger again, we decided to
take the cable car back to the village. There we checked out the shops and
then our driver took us to small shopping center, where we bought some
souvenirs before returning to the hotel.

Back at the hotel we had a late lunch at the hotel's restaurant, where
Claudia and I shared a pizza. Later we got ready for another afternoon at
the beach, because the sun came finally out again. Of course we had a couple
of drinks too and later we got sweet treats and an iced coffee. In the
evening we headed out into the village to our favourite hawker market. Today
we decided to take the food back to the hotel and eat on our balcony,
because it looked like it was starting to rain soon. We enjoyed our fried
noodles and fried rice while we watched the rain.
