Flying To Georgetown
Tuesday - August 15th 2023
Unfortunately today we had to leave Langkawi and our beautiful resort. After
breakfast we checked out and too the taxi to the airport. When we arrived at
the airport an awful suprise was waiting for us, because our Firefly flight to
Georgetown was delayed until the evening. It wasn't possible to get rebooked
to another flight and so we checked our options while having coffee at
Starbucks. So we decided to return to our hotel and spend the day relaxing by
the pool. We went swimming, had some beers and in the late afternoon it was
time to head back to the airport, but before we left we had an early dinner at
the hotel restaurant. Our flight finally departed and half an hour later we
landed in Georgetown. Once we collected our luggage a friendly taxi driver
took us to our hotel. After we checked in, we strolled through the
neighboorhood to get some drinks and snacks at 7/11.
