Islands Of Adventure
Friday - January 9th 2015
Today was our second day at the Universal Orlando Resort and we started our day at
Islands of Adventure. We arrived a bit early and had to wait until the park opened. First we walked to the Wizzarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade to ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It was fantastic, one of the best themepark rides I've ever done. Since we liked it so much, we got right into the line again and did it a second time. Afterwards we rode the Dragon Challenge coaster, which was also a lot of fun.

Since we had already done all attractions we wanted to do in the Islands of Adventure park yesterday, we decided to take the Hogwarts Express back to Diagon Alley, but before we had a beer at the Hog's Head Pub and got a coffee at Starbucks.

Back at Diagon Alley we strolled through the shops and then we had lunch at the same Italian restaurant like yesterday. And like yesterday we ordered the pasta marinara. After lunch there was only one ride left on our list, the Rip Ride Rockit coaster. Unfortunately today the parks were more crowded and so the line for that ride was very long. That's why we decided to skip it and to spend some time at the
Hard Rock Cafe instead. There we enjoyed a couple of drinks and bought some souvenirs.

Afterwards we left Universal, drove to a nearby Target supermarket, to the Whole Foods Market for dinner and then back to our hotel. Today we had to return our rented car at the Disney Car Care Center and after we unloaded our Hyundai at the hotel, we returned it. The guy from the Car Care Center drove us to the Transportation and Ticket Center from where we took the monorail to EPCOT. However it got colder and so we decided to return to the hotel.
