Another Day At Tokyo DisneySea
Wednesday - Septmeber 19th 2018
Like yesterday we arrived at the park an hour before opening, and like yesterday the crowd was already huge. Today we wanted to ride Tower of Terror, because it looked so different compared to the one at Disneyland Paris. So our first stop was the fastpass machine. Apparently that attraction was very popular among guests, because our fastpass was not valid so soon. So we walked over to Port Discovery, where we got in line for Aquatica. Luckily there was hardly any waiting time, because that was such a boring ride and really not worth the time. Next was Nemo & Friends Searider, a simulator ride, which was okay, but nothing to waste a lot of time.

Afterwards we took the tramway back to American Waterfront, where we stopped at New York Deli for beer and fries while waiting for our fastpass return time. Finally it was time for Tower of Terror. So far we had experienced the Towers in Florida, California and Paris. The one in Tokyo was definitely the most elaborate and best looking Tower, however it was also the most boring one. The ride experience was limited by the three point belt and the freefall itself got tamed down as well. After Tower of Terror I began to realize that Tokyo DisneySea is indeed the most beautiful park, but with many let downs. Except for Indiana Jones Adventure all other attractions we had done so far, were either mediocre or boring. After that disppointment it was time for lunch.

For lunch we went to Casbah Food Court, like yesterday evening. Claudia and I both got the vegan vegetable curry again. Afterwards we got in line for Sindbad's Storybook Voyage and then we did the Caravan Carousel. Later we headed back to Mysterious Island for Fortress Exploration. There we got handed a map to discover the fortress and to solve riddles. Although it was only available in Japanese, we still had a lot of fun exploring. Afterwards we noticed the short line at 20000 Leagues Under the Sea and so we joined Captain Nemo on a journey through the sea. The rest of the afternoon we spent at the Teddy Roosevelt Lounge inside the gigantic steamship at American Waterfront.

A couple of beers and other drinks later we left the park and took the
subway to Tokyo Main Station, where we had dinner at T's Tan Tan. We just wanted to eat something else than fries and curry. Back at Tokyo Disney Resort we decided to visit Tokyo Disneyland again. We didn't do any attractions, because the crowds were still crazy, so Claudia and I just strolled around the park to see it by night. Many guests were already waiting for the parade and camped out at the parade route. It was a little bit hard to navigate and so we left again. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at Lawson again for snacks and then returned to our room.
