Vienna
Friday - May 17th 2024
After breakfast we checked out and drove from Parndorf to Vienna. Like most of
the time when we are in Vienna we stayed at the
Austria Trend Hotel Doppio. Since we arrived in the morning our room wasn't ready yet. so we took the
tram into the inner city to visit the
Sigmund Freud Museum. The museum is located at his former apartment, where he also practiced
until he hed to flee from Nazi Germany. Freud's apartment is also known to be
the place where psychoanalysis was born. After an intersting tour through the
museum, we got a coffee at a nearby coffee house.

After our coffee break we just strolled around the neighbourhood before
taking a walk to the famous Schnitzel Restaurant
Figlmüller. There we had a reservation in the early afternoon. Claudia and I both got
the plant based schnitzel, which was delicious. Unfortunately after our late
lunch it started to rain, but since our room was ready by now, we took the
tram back to the hotel. In the evening we headed back to the inner city to
have dinner and get some drinks at the Hard Rock Cafe.
