Yas Waterworld

Today we visited
Yas Waterworld, another huge waterpark in the United Arab Emirates. Yas Waterworld was
located just accross the street from our hotel and so after breakfast when the
park opened we walked over. Once we had a nice spot with sunbeds for the day,
we tried the only rollercoaster in the park. Unfortunately none of the water
effects worked, but it was still fun. Since the crowd level was still very
low, we did all the big slides and water coasters beforefloating through the
lazy river.

At noon we stopped for plant based burgers at one of the many quick service
restaurants. Afterwards we relaxed a bit at the wave pool before hitting the
lazy river again. Yas Waterworld was not as huge or as beautiful as
Aquaventure in Dubai, but still a fun waterpark with lots of slides and pools.
In the fternoon the park got pretty full and so we decided to leave.

The rest of the afternoon we spent at the adults only pool at our hotel. Of
course we had some drinks as well while enjoying the relaxing atmosphere.
Later we had dinner at the hotel's buffet restaurant and afterwards we headed
over to Yas Mall. There we just strolled through the shops and did some window
shopping. Back at the hotel we got a couple of drinks at the rooftop bar and
called it a day.
