Tripsdrill
Sunday - August 15th 2021
Today we visited Tripsdrill, our last themepark of the trip. Since it was Sunday, we expected bigger
crowds and so we got up pretty early. After breakfast we drove to the park,
parked our car and got in line for the park opening. It was our first visit to
Tripdrill and so we were really excited to experience a new themepark. Once
the park opened we headed straight to Tripsdrill's two new rollercoasters. We
started our day with Hals über Kopf, a fantastic and such a fun coaster. Next
was Volldampf, Tripsdrill's other new coaster. Volldampf was okay, but nothing
special. Since the wait time for Hals über Kopf was still low, we got in line
again. Afterwards we walked over to the other side of the park to ride the
other big rollercoasters. On the way we stopped at a cute flat ride themed
after wine pots.

Now the two other big coasters were also open. First we rode Karacho, a
launch coaster, and then we got in line for Mammut, Tripdrill's huge
wooden coaster. Both coasters were fantastic and a lot of fun, but now it
was time for a beer break. A beer and a twisted potatoe later, it was time
for the last rollercoaster called Gsengte Sau. Since it was already noon,
we decided to get lunch at the park's main restaurant. There they even
offered vegan Swabian raviolis. Nedless to say we both ordered them and
they were delicious. After lunch we headed to the park's winery to collect
our in the admission included free wine glass. Unfortunately the crowd got
bigger and bigger and so we just walked around the park, checked out the
few shops and got ice cream. Since we did all the rides we wanted to do,
we left the park and drove back to the hotel, where we just relaxed a bit.
Later we had a vegan döner for dinner and got an ice cream in Ludwigsburg.
Back at the hotel we got another beer and spent the rest of the evening
watching YouTube videos about themeparks.
