Atlantis The Palm Aquaventure

Dubai is not only home to themeparks, but also to waterparks and with
Atlantis The Palm Aquaventure World
apparently being the biggest and best waterwark, we decided to give it. After
breakfast we drove to the famous hotel and waterpark and arrived just after
park opening. First we searched for sunbeds away from kids and luckily we
found a lovely spot under palm trees at the beach. Then we checked out the
waterpark and hit the first watercoaster, which was a lot of fun, before
floating through the lazy river. Later we stopped at Starbucks for a
refreshing iced coffee, because today it was really warm. Before relaxing at
the beach we checked out more water slides and pools.

For lunch we stopped at one of the food booths and got pizzas in a cone, but
unfortunately those were disappointing. At least the fries were good. In the
afternoon we spent more time in the pools and rode more slides. Aquaventure is
the world's biggest waterpark and offeres so many different pools, attractions
and experiences. We enjoyed our time there a lot, but in the afternoon we left
the park, because it got pretty crowded.

Back at the hotel we showered and headed out again for dinner. We went to Salt
at Dubai Marina Mall and of course we both ordered the plant based Impossible
Burger. Afterwards we took a stroll along the marina, got ice cream, and later
we enjoyed a couple of beers at the hotel terrace.
