Walt Disney World - Part 9

Animal Kingdom And Magic Kingdom

Wednesday - January 23rd 2008

Our second day in the Animal Kingdom Park started with a shock, because we thought we had lost our camera. I was sure that I had it in my backpack when we entered the park, but I couldn't find the camera anymore when we wanted to watch the Festival of the Lion King.

We left the theatre and asked at guest relations if a camera was found, but unfortunately no one found it. So we decided to return to the hotel. You can imagine that we were so happy when we found the camera in our room. With our camera we took the bus back to the park. Our first ride was Dinosaur followed by Expedition Everest. Afterwards it was time for our reservation at the Tusker House. The restaurant offered a buffet with all kinds of exotic food and it was so delicious.

First we watched the show in front of the castle, but we didn't like it very much. Afterwards we went to Fantasyland where we did it's a small world and Mickey's Philharmagic, a 3D movie. Our next stop was Frontierland to do the Haunted Mansion.

After the wildest ride in the wilderness, we had a Funnel Cake and just strolled around the park and enjoyed the illuminated park. The Magic Kingdom looks so much better after dark.

Since we have already seen the Spectromagic Parade and the fireworks, we decided to return to the hotel and have dinner there.
