Canada & USA 2017 - Part 8

Visting Our Old College Town

Sunday - September 17th 2017

Today we were on our way to Bowling Green, where we lived ten years ago for about half a year while studying at the Bowling Green State University. So after we got a coffee at the hotel, we left Cedar Point and drove for about an hour to Perrysburg to do some shopping at Target. Around noon we finally arrived in Bowling Green. Our room at the Best Western wasn't ready yet and so we had lunch at Chipotle first and afterwards we checked out all the major supermarkets. We just love spending time at American supermarkets to look at all the different products. So Meijer was first, then we drove to Walmarts and Kroger.

By the time we finished shopping at Kroger, our room was ready and we checked in. We got a nice and comfortable room and after we rested for a little while, we decided to take a walk around the University campus. Since it was Sunday, there wasn't much going on, but it was great to see the campus again and how it has changed over last years. For dinner we went to Panera Bread in downtown Bowling Green and then we enjoyed some beers at Reverend's Bar & Grill before we returned to out hotel.
