Our next stop on our road trip was Cedar Point, the roller coaster capital of
the world. Right after breakfast we were on the way to Ohio. This was our
longest distance to drive and around noon we arrived in Cleveland. Since we
had visted Cleveland already ten years ago, we decided to skip it. So we just
had lunch at a Whole Foods Market and bought some stuff at Trader Joe's.
Afterwards we took a break at the
Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park
and then we hit the road again.

In the afternoon we finally arrived at
Cedar Point and checked in
into our hotel. There we stayed at the
Cedar Point Express Hotel, a newly renovated hotel, which was just located a few minutes away from the
amusement park. Staying at a Cedar Point resort hotel allowed us to enter the
park in the evening, and on the next day we got an extra hour in the morning.
After check in we headed to the park to make full use of our evening hours.
The crowds were low and so we got to ride some of the biggest and most popular
coasters without any crazy lines. On top of our list were Top Thrill Dragster,
Millenium Force, Gatekeeper, and Cedar Point's newest addition Valravan.
Thanks to our special offer we were able to ride them all.
