Cardiff - London 2015 - Part 6

British Museum

Wednesday - May 6th 2015

Today it was time for the next museum on our list, because the weather forecast wasn't very good. When we arrived at the British Museum, it was already open and so we walked straight in. While Claudia liked the Natural History Museum better, I prefered the British Museum, since I'm more interested in history than nature. After we spent quite some time there, we even saw the fake Crystal Skull, we got hungry and decided to try a vegetarian pub named The Coach and Horses. I ordered the veggie burger and Claudia had the "tofush" and chips. The food was okay, but like traditional pub food, it was very greasy.

In the afternoon we went to Covent Garden Markets, but once we arrived there, it started to rain. So we walked into the next pub, got a small beer and waited until the weather got better. Finally the rain stopped and we walked back to the markets. After a stop at the Disney Store, we visited the National Gallery to see the Van Gogh pictures. Then we walked to Downing Street 10, but couldn't see anything. Since it looked like that the rain would return, we enjoyed a drink at The Admirality pub before we had dinner at Chipotle.
