Today was a bank holiday in the United Kingdom and that meant many people
visiting the city. At first we planned to visit one of the many museums in
London, but we decided against that idea. Instead we did a walking tour from
the Waterloo train station to Houses of Parliament and then from Westminster
Abbey to Buckingham Palace. There we watched the Changing of the Guards, but
unfortunately we couldn't see that much and leaft early in favour for the
Hard Rock Cafe. We spent some time there, enjoyed some drinks, and then we took the double
decker bus to Picadilly Circus, where we had a late lunch at the Whole Foods
Market, which by the way was not as great as the ones in the USA.

Afterwards we took the bus to Hyde Park, where we spent the rest of the
afternoon. Later it started to rain and so we returned to our hotel and
relaxed a bit. In the evening we went to a shopping center in Wandsworth and
had dinner at Wagamama. Before we headed back to the hotel, we enjoyed some
drinks at the Alma Pub.
