Back At Disneyland
Thursday - March 28th 2013
Today we were back at the parks and again we wanted to use the Extra Magic Hours. Once inside Disneyland we started with Space Mountain: Mission 2, because Buzz Lightyear had some technical troubles again. Even after the first ride, Buzz Lightyear wasn't operating yet and so we joined another journey into outer space.

Unfortunately it didn't seem that Buzz would open soon, we walked over to Fantasyland and took a spin on Le Carrousel de Lancelot. Next was Peter Pan's Flight, but like in recent days it also had problems. Disney was really disappointing us with so many rides not working and since the other dark rides, like Snow White or Pinocchio, didn't open before 10:00am, we decided to give Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast another try. And what a surprise, it was running.
Before we had a coffee at the Cable Car Bake Shop on Main Street USA, we visited the dragon beneath Sleeping Beauty Castle. It's always fantastic to see that masterpiece working. It's one of these little things that make Disneyland Paris so special.

After we finished our coffee, the parks opened to all guests and so we walked over to Star Tours. I wasn't suprised to hear from a Castmember that the ride will not open before 11:00am due to technical problems. However people didn't leave the entrance and soon the line reached back to Space Mountain. Suddenly after waiting for ten minutes, the attraction opened. I guess it's not a good image for Disney when people line up through the whole land. Although Disneyland Paris still hasn't upgraded to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, it was a lot of fun to visit Endor.

For today we had a reservation at 11:30am at Agrabah Cafe, but we still had some time and rode Indiana Jones.

Agrabah Cafe is our favourite restaurant at Disneyland Paris. It's a buffet style eatery that offers Oriental inspired food and many vegetarian options, like Couscous Salad. Another good thing about that restaurant is, that it doesn't get so crowded.

After lunch we went over to the Studios park, where we arrived on time for Cinemagique, one of Disney's best themepark attractions. It's a must see for us every time we are there.

Later that afternoon we had a meeting with a Disney Fanboard member I met in a Disney Forum, but until then we still had some time to ride Rock'n'Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. We did Rock'n'Roller Coaster five times during our trip, but the onboard music only worked once. Bad show Disney!

Finally it was time for our meet up at Cafe Fantasia in the Disneyland Hotel. What a great and beautiful bar, even the waitress talked in German to us. We had a great time meeting with other Disney fans and to hear about their experiences with Disneyland, but after nearly two hours it was time to say good bye. We headed to King Ludwig's Castle for another beer, because it started to snow.

Later after the snowing stopped, we returned to the Disneyland Park to ride Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor and Indiana Jones. Since the park was closing soon, we decided to have dinner at Earl of Sandwich and left the park. Back in the hotel we watched a George Clooney movie in French and enjoyed a late small beer.
