Returning Home
Monday - October 25th 2021
Today we had to fly back home, but since our plane didn't depart before late
afternoon, we still had the morning to do some sightseeing. After breakfast we
checked out and left our luggage at the hotel. Then we took the metro to
Teleferic de Montjuic, a cable car that took us on top of Montjuic, where we wanted to see
Montjuic Castle. The cable car wasn't open yet, but soon we were on our way to the top of
Montjuic. From there we had a fantastic view over Barcelona. We also bought
tickets for the castle, but that wasn't that interesting and so we got a
couple of beers at the bar until we had to return to the hotel to get our
luggage. Before we took the bus to the airport, we went to a burritos
restaurant for lunch. At the airport we waited at Starbucks until our flight
back to Munich departed. On the way back to Salzburg we stopped at McDonalds
for a veggie burger and in the late evening we were finally back home.
