Unfortunately the weather wasn't very good today, but we still got up early,
because we had planned to do a Hamburg harbour cruise. Atfter breakfast at the
hotel we walked to the so called Landungsbrücken and booked the tour. The tour
lasted for about one hour and a half and took us to the UNESCO world heritage
site Speicherstadt and from there to the container terminals and back to the
Landungsbrücken. Claudia and I did the tour already last year, but it was
still very enjoyable.

Back at the Landungsbrücken we got a hot cup of coffee to escape the rain and
warm up again. Afterwards we took Claudia's parents to the Elbe Tunnel, that
runs under the river and connects St. Pauli with the harbour area. The tunnel
is about 100 years old and even cars can use it. Since it was already around
noon we took the subway to Peter Pane Burgergrill. Some delicious vegan burger
later, the sun came out again and so we took a walk to the Sternschanze
district, a very modern area known for shopping and many bars and restaurants.
The rest of the afternoon we spent at the famous Reeperbahn where we got some
drinks and enjoyed the warm weather. Afterwards we walked along the river Elbe
to the Elbphilharmonie building and for dinner Claudia and I went to Loving
Hut again, because it was very good and conveniently located near our hotel.
Later we met with Claudia's parents at the hotel bar again and ordered some
drinks until it was time to call it a day.
