Disneyland Paris 2017 - Part 3

What A Wonderful Day

Tuesday - May 16th 2017

Our day started early again. After we got up, we walked to the parks to make full use of the extra magic hours. Once inside the Disneyland park, we headed into Fantasyland to do Dumbo The Flying Elephant and Le Carousel De Lancelot. Then it was time for a coffee break at Cafe Hyperion in Discoveryland. Afterwards decided to walk over to the Studios to get in line for Crush's Coaster, but it was closed due to technical problems. So next we tried RC Racer, which was down too. At that moment I got really frustrated with Disneyland Paris. Never ever had we encountered so many closed rides because of bad meintenance. Nonetheless we got in the line, because the Castmember promised RC Racer would reopen soon. Twenty minutes later we were finally allowed to ride. For today we had a lunch reservation at Agrabah Cafe, but before we left the Studios, we did Ratatouille, which is still very popular among guests.

Back in the Disneyland Park we had a wonderful lunch at the Agrabah Cafe in Adventureland. Agrabah Cafe is a vegetarian friendly buffet style restaurant that serves Oriental food. After a delicious lunch we did the Indy coaster and Big Thunder Mountain. Since it was getting really warm, we decided to get some refreshing beers at the Sports Bar in Disney Village, but first we strolled through Alice's Curious Labyrinth and sailed with the happiest cruise on earth through it's a small world. On our way out we even did Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Some refreshing drinks later, we decided to return to the hotel to relax a bit, because today we wanted to see Disney's Illumantion show. Back in the park our first stop was at Phantom Manor. Next was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, followed by Pinocchio and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. Then we did some shopping until it was time for the nighttime show. Illuminations wasn't very good, but it's okay to watch it at least once. The former show Disney Disney Dreams was so much better and I really miss it.
