Disneyland Paris 2017 - Part 1

Ooops, We Did It Again

Sunday - May 14th 2017

Once a year we plan to go to the happiest place in Europe and today we were on our way to Disneyland Paris again. This year should be special, because Disneyland Paris was celebrating its 25th Anniversary, which we didn't want to miss at all. We got up early, packed our stuff into the car and soon we hit the road to Paris. Approximately nine hours later, including some stops along the way, we arrived at our hotel. Like during our last trips we stayed at the Relais Spa in Val d'Europe. Upon arrival we checked in and dropped off the luggage in our room. There are many reasons why we like to stay at that hotel. The first one is, that the rooms are equipped with a small kitchen, but more importantly with a fridge, which makes being vegan much more easier at Disneyland Paris. Another reason was the free shuttle bus service from the hotel to the parks.

After we unloaded our stuff and showered, we took the shuttle to Disneyland to get our annual passes. Today the Disneyland Park was really packed, because Disney was hosting the European premiere of the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie "Dead Men Tell No Tales" with Johnny Depp and the rest of the cast at the resort. Unfortunately we arrived too late and except for many journalists and photographers we didn't see anyone from the movie. Once we had our new annual passes in our hands, we left the park towards Disney Village, because it was just too crowded, and got some welcome drinks and fries at the Sports Bar instead. Later we checked out the stores and returned to the hotel.
