Vittoriosa

Our last full day in Malta started with breakfast on the terrace before
getting a Bolt taxi to Vittoriosa, one of the so called Three Cities. The
Three Cities are Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua and are fortified towns
opposite of Valletta. The taxi dropped us off outside the city walls and then
we just strolled around the beautiful streets. Luckily there weren't any
tourists yet and we had the small city almost to ourselves. Later we walked to
the yacht harbour from where we had a wonderful view of Valletta.

Since the weather forecast predicted rain for the rest of the day, we decided
to check out another shopping mall. After exploring Vittoriosa we ordered
another Bolt taxi and drove to Smart City, where the
Shoreline Shopping Mall
was located. It was just a short drive and once we arrived, we got an iced
coffee at Starbucks first before we checked out the shops. Shopping was quite
successful and after some snacks for lunch from the supermarket we headed back
to the hotel. There Claudia trained in the fitness studio while I relaxed at
the indoor pool. Before it was time for dinner, we got an aperitif at the
hotel bar and the we walked into the city to our favourite restaurant Agata.
Claudia and I both had a pizza and enoyed our last evening on this beautiful
island with ice cream.
