Cesky Krumlov

Claudia and I wanted to visit Cesky Krumlov for quite some time now and
this year we finally found the time to spend a whole weekend in this
lovely town. Friday after work we hit the road and about three hours later
we arrived in Cesky Krumlov. Since the inner city is only for pedestrians
we had to park outside and walk to the hotel. We stayed at the
Old Inn Hotel, probably the best hotel in the city, with its nice and mordern rooms.
After we checked in and dropped off our luggage, we explored the old town
and later we got a welcome beer at a lovely bar overlooking the river.

For dinner we went to a lovely vegetarian restaurant called
Laibon. While I ordered the Mexican wrap, Claudia got the veggie platter with lots
of different things to try. Both dishes were delicious, but for dessert we
headed to a nearby bakery to get a traditional tree cake filled with Nutella.
The rest of the evening we spent walking through the old town and enjoying the
great weather. Later we stopped at another bar and had a couple of drinks
while listening to live music before calling it a day and returning to the
hotel.
