Katschberg
Saturday - January 21st 2023
Our last day started like yesterday. After we got up, I went down to Cafe
Herbert to get our rolls and then we had breakfast. Before we hit the slopes
again, we had to check out and put all our luggage into the car. Today the sun
came out a little bit, but the wind was really strong and so some ropeways
were closed. That meant skiing was only possible on the Katschberg side of the
mountain. Due to the wind it was very cold, but we made the best out of it. At
one point it got so cold, we decided to stop by at the Gamskogel Ski Lodge to
get hot tea and a glass of beer. After we warmed up again, we hit the slopes
again and around noon we had lunch at the same restaurant where we had dinner
yesterday. Since we were really cold, we cut the day short and drove back to
Salzburg.
