Katschberg

Last year Claudia and I spent a couple of days skiing in Katschberg and we
liked the ski area a lot and so we decided to go there aigain. This year we
stayed the the
Boutique Aparthotel Herbert, where we had our own little apartment. Early morning we drove to Katschberg
and about two hours later we arrived at our hotel. Check in was quick and we
also got to purchase our ski tickets at the reception. First we checked out
the apartment, which was really beautiful and spacious. Once we had all
of our luggage brought up to the apartment, we headed to the slopes.

Luckily it snowed the last couple days and so it was Winter Wonderland on
the mountain. The slopes were in a perfect condition and although the
weather wasn't the best, we had a lot fun. It was our first time skiing this
year, but we enjoyed it so much. Around noon we had lunch at the
Brantweineralm Ski Lodge
and we both got the vegan potatoe leak soup, which was delicious. Later in
the afternoon we stopped for drinks at another more modern ski lodge. There
they also had alpacas and of course we had to see them too. A couple of
rides later we called it a day and headed back to our apartment. There we
had a glass of champagne, relaxed a bit and got ready for dinner. For the
evening we had a reservation at restaurant
Stamperl, where Claudia and I ordered a pizza and for dessert we got ice cream.
Back at the apartment we had another glass of champagne and enjoyed a
relaxed evening.
