Arriving at Disneyland Paris

Another year, another visit to Disneyland Paris, however, this year there were
some complications. France's oil industry was on strike and so fuel was not
available at many gas stations. Since we traveled by car that was a huge
problem for us and so we had to prepare for the journey. Before we left we
filled our petrol cans and took them with us just in case to have petrol when
needed. Well prepared we hit the road Sunday morning and in the late afternoon
we arrived at Disneyland Paris. It took us a little bit longer than usually,
because we latered our route and drove more kilometres in Germany, where fuel
was available. This time we stayed at Disney's Newport Bay Club Hotel, a new
resort for us and we enjoyed it a lot. After we checked in and unpacked our
stuff, we headed to Walt Disney Studios Park to get something to eat. At the
newly opened Marvel Avengers Campus we found vegan hot dogs for dinner and
they tasted pretty good. Then we just strolled around the park and spent the
rest of the evening at the Sports Bar in Disney Village.
