Themepark Tour 2021 - Part 9

Monday - August 16th 2021

 

Unfortunately today was already our last day of our themepark tour, but we got to spend it at Tripsdrill again. So after breakfast we packed our luggage, checked out and drove to Tripsdrill. To our surprise there was already a bigger crowd than yesterday waiting at the front gate. Like yesterday we started with Hals über Kopf and thanks to the short wait time we did it twice in a row. For today we just planned to ride all of the major coasters again and leave the park in the early afternoon. After Hals über Kopf we got to experience another special flat ride called Suppentopf themed after soup pots. Then it was time for a coffee break.

After a hot cup of coffee we rode Karacho followed by Mammut. Since the waether was about to change, we headed straight to Jungbrunnen, a log flume ride. Usually we are not the biggest water rides fans, but Jungbrunnen turned out to be a lot of fun. And we only got a little wet. Now we just strolled through the shops to buy a souvenir and then before leaving the park for good we got a pretzel for lunch. After we said our goodvyes to that lovely themepark we hit the road towards Salzburg. On the way home we stopped at McDonalds and finally after we made it through a bad thunderstorm we arrived in Salzburg in the evening.

Tripsdrill was the perfect ending for our themepark tour. All three parks we had visited during ths trip were amazing. Although we had been to Disneyland Paris many times before, it was still another fantastic visit. Parc Asterix and Tripsdrill were new to us and both were really great and worth a visit. I'm pretty sure we will visit these parks again.
