Sightseeing In Prague
Saturday - July 18th 2009
Today the weather wasn't very good and so there was no hurry for sightseeing.
Firstly we had a fantastic breakfast with rolls, cheese, potatoes, grilled
vegetables, eggs, fruits, cerealy, coffee and orange juice.

Afterwards we took the subway to the city and walked to the Opera House and
other famous landmarks. Then it was time to cross the famous Charles Bridge,
because we wanted to see the Castle District with the St. Vitus Cathedral. The
castle is the official residence of the Czech President. Since it was raining
heavily we decided to have a hot coffee at Starbucks first.

After we watched the change of the guards, which was not as special as in
London, we walked back to the inner city of Prague and had lunch at an Indian
restaurant.

Unfortunately it didn't stop to rain and so we did some shopping and returned
to our hotel. There we enjoyed a cold beer at the hotel bar. Afterwards we had
a warm shower, plundered the minibar and spent the rest of the afternoon
watching TV.

Finally the sky cleared up and it wasn't raining anymore. So we walked back to
the city and enjoyed a nice dinner at the
Clear Head Restaurant. Later we had a few beers and drinks at the Hard Rock Cafe again.
