Back At Disneyland Paris
Monday - September 8th 2008
We woke up very early to make full use of the Extra Magic Hours. So we had breakfast at 7am, which was nice and quiet. When we left the dining hall, there was a huge queue outside so we were happy that we got the earliest breakfast slot.
When we entered the Disneyland Park, we were so happy to be back in “our” park, because we didn’t have the “Disney feeling” in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Honestly we were a bit disappointed by the Magic Kingdom in Florida. The park was just not as beautiful as the Disneyland Park in Paris and so it was great to be “home” again.

After starring at the castle for a while, we walked to Discoveryland to
do Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. Then it was time for Space Mountain,
which we rode two times, but unfortunately our experiences were very
bumpy.

After having a little snack in the Cable Car Bakeshop we went to the Guest Relations to make some reservations for restaurants. Unfortunately we were told that Walt’s - An American Restaurant was closed all week long. So we were a little disappointed by that since it’s our favorite restaurant.

After a hot cup of coffee we headed over to the Walt Disney Studios Park and were shocked by the huge queue in front of Crush’s Coaster that was all through the park back to Hollywood Boulevard. The attraction wasn’t even open yet! Unfortunately Claudia didn’t feel very well and didn't want to do any rides, so we decided to go back to the hotel to rest a bit.

Later we returned to Disneyland Park and had lunch at the Pizzeria Bella Notte. We had never been to that restaurant, but the theming was nice and we enjoyed eating there. I had the Four Cheese Pizza and Claudia opted for the Pasta Neapolitana.

In the afternoon we did our favorite rides, like Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Phantom Manor. Since the weather was so nice and the queues of the attractions being so long, we just strolled around the most beautiful Disneyland Park and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Later we went over the Walt Disney Studios Park again and rode the newly built Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, which was just brilliant! We loved it. And the Cast Members were just amazing, they did such a good job – very creepy.

Since the lines were long at the other attraction, we decided to return to the Disneyland Park to have dinner at Au Chalet de la Marionette. We both had the Cheese Salad, which was okay.

Before we watched Candlebration, we did Phantom Manor again. The show on Central Plaza was disappointing, first of all you couldn’t see the lights at the castle and secondly it was very short.

After leaving the park we had some drinks at the Sports Bar and then went back to the hotel.
