Skiing At Kronplatz
Thursday - March 12th 2026
Today was my birthday and I was surprised with a lovely decorated breakfast
table and birthday pancake from the kitchen. After breakfast we drove to our
first ski resort about half an hour from Toblach called
Kronplatz. Once we purchased our tickets we were ready to hit the slopes. The ski
resort was rather big and offered many different ski runs. Later in the
morning we stopped at an outdoor bar for a birthday drink and at noon we found
a lovely hut, where we shared pasta and tiramisu for lunch.

In the afternoon we drove back to the hotel to spend the rest of the day in
the hotel's spa. After a skiing day it was really nice to relax in the heated
outdoor pool and in the sauna. Later we had a reservation at
Pizzeria Hans, where we had already eaten during our last visit. For dinner we both got a
pizza and shared tiramisu and ice cream for dessert. Back at the hotel we got
a couple of drinks to clebrate my birthday before calling it a day and
relaxing in front of the TV.
