Die Wasnerin

In 2022 we spent already a couple of day at
Die Wasnerin in Bad Aussee
and since we had such a great time back then, we wanted to return. This year
we finally made it happen and returned for a weekend getaway. So Friday after
work we drove to Bad Aussee and upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of
champagne while waiting for our room. Once we dropped off our luggage we
headed directly to the indoor spa area, because it started to rain heavily, to
spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool and enjoying the sauna.

In the late afternoon it stopped raining and the sun came out again, but we
had to get ready for the evening and left the spa. On the way to the
restaurant, we stopped at the hotel bar for an aperitif. After a glass of beer
and chanpagne it was time for dinner. We got to chose from several vegetarian
options and in the end we ordered cheese panna cotta and falafel for starters
and the tomato basil sorbet for appetizer. For the main course Claudia got a
vegetable cake with mashed potatoes and I had cheese spätzle. The food was
delicious and of course we had to get dessert as well. The rest of the evening
we spent relaxing in front of the TV in our room.
