Camden Lock Market
Thursday - May 7th 2015
Claudia and I are big fans of the BBC TV series Sherlock and since Sherlock is partly filmed in London, we had to see some of the locations. The most important
locations for us were Sherlock's and Dr. Watson's apartment and
Speedy's Cafe. So on our way to Camden we paid a visit to the filming location. All I have to say is, that in the series it looks much nicer. However, after we got a cup of tea at Speedy's, we headed to
Camden Lock Market. There we browsed through the little shops and around noon we got Ethiopian and Argentinian food from the street vendors. Both meals were delicious. Afterwards we had a beer at
The Cuban Bar, we had already been there in 2011, and some vegan cookies and donuts at a vegan bakery.

Since we spent several hours in Camden, it was already afternoon and so
we took the metro back into the inner city, but before we shared an
Indian dish from the vendors. We got off at the Blackfriar Pub, where we
had a quick break, and then we walked to St. Paul's Cathedral and to
the Millenium Bridge. From there we strolled to Waterloo station and took the train back to Wandsworth.
