Disneyland Paris 2008 - Part 4

Our Third Day In The Parks

Wednesday - September 10th 2008

On our third day we were a bit tired. Nevertheless we had an early breakfast, like the days before, and then we made full use of the Extra Magic Hours again.

Like everyday we walked to the parks, because it only took twenty minutes and it is really a nice walkway along Lake Disney. We did Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast in Discoveryland before we walked over to Fantasyland. There we rode it's a small world, Snow White's Scary Adventures and Peter Pan's Flight.

After the other lands opened we headed over to Big Thunder Mountain and to our joy we discovered that Fuente Del Oro was open. That was the first time we had seen this place open! We walked through Frontierland and suddenly saw Minnie Mouse and Woody at Woody’s Round-Up. And the queue was really short, so of course we had to get a picture with Minnie and Woody.

We had an early lunch at the Fuente del Oro, and it was very delicious. We both opted for the vegetarian Fajitas with onion rings and nachos. Everything was fresh and was a nice variety to the usual burgers and pizzas in the parks.

After lunch we rode the Pirates of the Caribbean and then just strolled around the park. We had some delicious Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. My favorite flavor was Cookie Dough while Claudia loved Phish Food.

After a quick look at the Mary Poppins Show on Town Square, we walked over to the Studios to do our favorite attraction: The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror.

After the Tower of Terro we watched Animagique, a very cute black light show. Later we did the Art of Disney Animation for the first time, during the last trips we were just not interested in that. I have no idea why, since it was such a nice little exhibition and we loved the Animation Academy, where we had learned to draw Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse.

We headed back to Disneyland Park to watch the Once Upon A Dream Parade. The floats in the Parade were really nice and they even smelled, for example like flowers. The parade was new due to the 15th birthday of Disneyland Paris and it was so much better than the parades we have seen at Walt Disney World.

Afterwards we had an early dinner at Cowboy Cookout Barbecue, and tried the really good Omelette Burger. Then we walked back to the hotel to realx a bit and to get ready for an evening in Disney Village.
