Bowling Green And Bowling Green State University
Claudia and I had the chance to spend a semester at the Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Of course we both took the chance and so were able to spend six wonderful months in the United States of America.
Bowling Green, Ohio
Bowling Green is a nice small city with 30000 inhabitants in Ohio and approximately 30 km south of Toledo. The city was founded in 1835 by Joseph Gordon, who named it after his hometown in Kentucky. There we rented an apartment for five months, which was okay for the money we paid.

Compared to other US cities, Bowling Green was small and so there was no public transport. Since we are coming from a country where even smaller cities of the scale of Bowling Green offer public transport, we had to get used to walk a lot. Nevertheless it was a nice little town and we enjoyed our time there a lot.
