Tokyo DisneySea
Friday - October 17th 2025
Our last day at Tokyo Disney Resort started with breakfast at Lotso Restaurant
and then we checked out before taking the monorail to Tokyo DisneySea. Today
the weather was really nice and so the crowds were much bigger than yesterday.
It took some time but we finally made it into the park and headed directly to
Tower of Terror. Unfortunately the line was already so long that's why decided
to skip it and eat our snacks instead. Due to the heavy crowds we just
strolled around the different ports of call like Lost River Delta, Arabian
Coast or Mermaid Lagoon until we got tiramisu ice cream at Port
Discovery.

Afterwards we browsed through the beautiful American Waterfront and stopped at
an outdoor bar for a couple of drinks. After an ice cold beer we had a
fastpass for Toy Story Mania, one of our favourite Disney shooting dark rides.
Next we checked out the shops to find some souvenirs until we stopped at
Zambini Brothers' Ristorante in Mediterranean Harbor for lunch. We both
ordered the plant based pasted, shared a breadstick filled with pesto and got
green alien mochis for dessert. After a really good lunch we headed out into
the park again.

First we walked to the entrance plaza to get some cash at the ATM. In the
afternoon we had a timed entry slot for Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey in
Fantasy Springs. It wasn't time yet and so we decided to kill some with
cocktails at Nautilus Galley in Mysterious Island. Then it was finally time
for our fastpass and we headed to Frozen Kingdom in Fantasy Springs. Anna and
Elsa's Frozen Journey was basically a copy of the boat ride found at EPCOT and
to be honest I found the original one at Walt Disney World better and more
charming. With the Frozen attraction in the books we managed to do every ride
and attraction we wanted to, we decided to leave Tokyo DisneySea to pick up
our luggage at the Toy Story Hotel. Then we took the monorail to the train
station and from there we were on our way back to Tokyo and said our goodbyes
to Tokyo Disney Resort, which is still the best Disney Resort despite the huge
crowds.

Back in Tokyo we stayed at the
Marunouchi Hotel
near Tokyo Station. The hotel was really lovely and from our nice and cosy
room we had a great view over the train station. After we checked in, we
left our luggage in the room and then we headed out again to find a 7-Eleven
market. Since we just wanted a relaxing evening in our room, we decided to
buy some snacks, like egg sandwiches and potatoe chips, and eat them later
while watching TV.
