Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm
Saturday - January 20th 2024
Today the weather was so much nicer and we couldn't await to hit the slopes
gain, but before we had to get breakfast. Afterwards we got ready for another
skiing day. The hotel shuttle bus took us to the cable car station where we
met with my brother and his girlfriend. The sun was shining and the slopes
were in a much better condition than yesterday. And so was our mood. For today
we had planned to ski in the Hinterglemm area and maybe visit Fieberbrunn in
Tyrol, another part of the huge ski resort. Around noon we stopped at a lovely
outdoor bar for a beer while enjoying the wonderful weather. Afterwards we had
lunch at
Reiteralm, where Claudia and I had vegan chicken stripes with fries.

In the afternoon we made it across the inner Austrian boarder to Tyrol, but
didn't continue towards Fieberbrunn, since the slopes weren't in the best
condition anymore. On the way back to Hinterglemm we stopped at the same
outdoor bar again and enjoyed another glass of beer. Later we skiied back to
Hinterglemm and called it a day. Unfortunately my brother and his girlfriend
had to return home today and once we said our goodbyes the shuttlle bus picked
us up again. Back at the hotel we got two glasses of wine until we went out
for dinner. Like yesterday we had a reservation at Thomsn and of course we got
pizza again. The rest of the evening we spent relaxing in front of the TV.
