Legoland Germany
Friday - October 16th 2020
The last day of our themepark roadtrip had arrived. Today we were on our way
home, but not before another visit to Legoland. Once we got up, we packed our
stuff and then we headed to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Afterwards we
loaded our car and drove to the main parking lot. For today we hadn't planned
anything, because the weather wasn't that great and we got to do everything we
wanted already yesterday. Once inside the park we headed straight to the main
Lego Store to get some souvenirs and to check out the latest Lego products,
because during the day the queue line got pretty long.

After we purchased our souvenirs, we got in line for the Lego Factory to learn
how Lego bricks are made. The exhibition was really well done and on the way
out we got a special Legoland Germany brick. Right next door was the Lego
Factory Pick A Brick shop, where Claudia and I got to build our own Lego
Minifigure. Unfortunately the rain didn't stop and so we got a coffee at
Knight's Kingdom before strolling around Miniature Land and riding Lego
Ninjago one last time. Since it didn't look like the weather to get better, we
decided to leave the park for good. On the way to the exit we stopped at a
bakery to buy some pretzels for our drive back home to Salzburg. Although
Legoland Germany was more of kiddie park than a themepark like Disneyland or
Universal Studios, we enjoyed our time there and maybe we would visit
again.
