The first night on the ship was fine and after breakfast we headed back into the city, because the ship wasn't departing before 1:00pm. At first we just walked around the shopping streets, but since the shops were still closed, we decided to do a boat tour through Amsterdam's canals or Grachten as they are called in Dutch. The tour lasted for about an hour and we got to see a lot.

Afterwards we went to the Red Light District and had a coffee at a
wonderful little coffee house. Luckily the weather got warmer and so we
could sit outside and enjoy the sun. Then it was time to return to the
ship. Back at the ship lunch was served at the restaurant after MS
Inspire left Amsterdam behind. After a five course meal, we used the
afternoon to relax a bit.

In the evening we had an aperitif at the Panorama Lounge and soon it was
already time for dinner. Eating was a big part of that cruise. Later we had another drink at the bar, chatted with the other guests and then we went to bed.
