Our Last Day At Sea
Thursday - January 22nd 2015
Since another day at sea was lying ahead of us, we wanted to try the other fine dining restaurant and reserved a table at Remy for lunch. We started our day with breakfast at Cabanas and thanks to the warm weather we could eat outside, which was wonderful. Until our lunch reservation we still had plenty of time left and so we enjoyed the sunny weather on the sundeck with reading.

Now it was time for our lunch reservation. Together with other guests we
were greeted by the chef and the head waiter. First they told us what
the menu was like and what champagnes they were going to serve with the
different dishes. Then we got the first glass of champagne and ratatouille. Afterwards we were brought to our table and the feast could
begin. For the first course we got a blend of different tomatoes
accompanied by a Taittinger Prestige Cuvée Rosé NV, followed by a
Mediterranean Salad. The next two courses were Mushroom Gnocchi and
Potato Cannelloni accompanied by Pommery Gold '06 champagne and for the dessert we
had a delicious fruit salad with Moet & Chandon Ice NV. The
champagne experience was 30 dollars extra, but it was totally worth it. I
think we have never eaten in such a luxury restaurant. The whole lunch
was fantastic and every course was excellent.

In the afternoon we returned to the sundeck and then we got ready for
the evening. Today's evening entertainment was a musical called Disney's
Believe. The musical was pretty good, but not as great as Aladdin.
Afterwards we had dinner at Enchanted Garden and we both ordered the
Asian Pear Salad, the risotto and ice cream. This was our least
favourite meal, but it was still good. Of course we spent the rest of the evening at a bar, mainly in the beautiful Skyline Lounge.
