Biking Around Salzburg
Wednesday - August 15th 2012
Today was a federal holiday and since the weather was really nice, we decided to undertake a biking tour around Salzburg. We started our tour in the morning and returned in the early afternoon.

Around noon we reached a
small restaurant where we had a short break to enjoy a glass of beer. The restaurant was home to a peacock named Columbus and of course he was the star and every guest took a picture of him. In the beergarden there is a big marble statue of Emperor Karl, who, according to a
legend, sleeps inside the mountain range next to Salzburg.

Before we returned home we made another stop at the
Stiegl Brewery in Salzburg. A beer later we were on our way back home.
