A Weekend Full Of Wine

Good friends of ours invited Caudia and me to spend a weekend together at their wine cellar in Lower Austria. Needless to say that we accepted the invitation and joined them in a weekend full of wine.

Friday morning we were on our way to the wine cellar and arrived there around noon. After unloading our car, we had lunch together. The weather was fantastic and so we ate outside in the wine garden. Of course we opened a bottle of wine and since we hadn't planned anything special for the afternoon, it wasn't the last one that day.

In the evening we had a reservation at our favorite
vegetarian restaurant near Vienna. Unfortunately we had to drive there and so that meant one of us couldn't drink. A big thank you to our friend who offered to drive. All of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner and after some delicious ice cream, we returned to the wine cellar. Back home we opened another bottle of white wine. All in all we drank four bottles that day, which is not bad for four people.
