Our Last Day
Friday - September 16th 2016
Today the sun was shining again and so we left the hotel early for the extra magic hours. After the 25 minutes walk we arrived at Disneyland. The line for meeting Mickey and Minnie was still very short and so had to get a picture with the cute couple. In Fantasyland we did Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo and the Tea Cups before heading over to Discoveryland. There we blasted off into the galaxy with Space Mountain and fighted against the evil emperor Zurg in Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. Afterwards it was time for coffee, but instead of going to Starbucks we got a not so good Nescafe at the Cable Car Bake Shop on Main Street. It's really time for a Starbucks inside the parks, like in the US parks.

Then we went over to the Walt Disney Studios and our first stop was the
Tower of Terror followed by Ratatouille. Since the queue for Slinky Dog
Zigzag Spin was very short, we tried that attraction for the first time,
although we were definitely not the target. It was an okay ride aimed
towards children, and they apparently loved it. Around noon we got lunch
at Restaurant En Coulisse and after Rock'n'Rollercoasterd we left the
studios again.

Back in Disneyland we noticed that Le Pays des Contes de Fées was open
and so we that canal boat tour through famous fairy tales for the first
time in many years. It was a nice and relaxing attraction, but we
wouldn't queue for it longer than ten minutes. Now Claudia wanted to get
candy floss and so we headed to the Boardwalk Candy Palace on Main
Street. While eating the candy floss we watche Anna and Elsa from Frozen
passing by. Since the crowds were bigger than expected today, we left
the park for the Sports Bar in Disney Village. After a couple of beers
we returned to Disneyland and watched the parade. Then we did Pirates of
the Caribbean and before we left the park for good, because it started
to rain again, we had dinner at Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost. We both
ordered the pasta neapolitana and it was quite good. On the way to the
shuttle we bought some souvenirs, like TsumTsums, pins and a magnet.
Back in the hotel we packed our stuff and got ready for tomorrow's long
drive back home.

Driving Home
Saturday - September 17th 2016
After we loaded our car, we checked out and soon we were on our way back home. Nine hours and a stop at Burger King later we arrived in Salzburg. There we bought some groceries and spent the evening with watching TopGear.
