Disneyland Paris 2006 - Part 2

Our Second Day In The Parks

Tuesday - April 18th 2006

On the next morning we had to get up early, because we had booked the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast where your breakfast is served inside the park. Disneyland opened two hours earlier for those guests and you could ride several attractions, like Peter Pan's Flight, it's a small world, Tea Cups, Dumbo or Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Fantasyland. Since everyone rushed to the restaurant, we did all the rides first and had breakfast afterwards, when it was already quiet again. Afterwards we went over to Adventureland to ride Pirates of the Caribbean, a boat ride through the world of pirates.

Then it was time for Frontierland with its great attractions Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Phantom Manor. Both are two of Disney's best attractions ever created. Phantom Manor is a haunted house, while Big Thunder Mountain is the wildest ride in the wilderness. After watching The Lion King Musical, we decided to give the Walt Disney Studios Park a try. This park is about movies, television and cinema, but before we had lunch at the Hyperion Cafe and another ride with Space Mountain.

In the Studios we rode Rock'n'Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith first and then we watched Moteurs...Action!, a car stuntshow. Next was the Studio Tram Tour including Catastrophe Canyon. Back in 2006 the park was very small and so there wasn't that much to do for us.

Since it was already late afternoon, we returned to our room to refresh, because today the Disneyland Park stayed open until 10pm. The park looks wonderful when it's dark and all the illumination adds a lot to the magic. After a long day in the parks we returned to our room.
