For today we had planned to visit
Ljubljana Castle. So after breakfast Claudia and I walked into the Old Town of Ljubljana. On
our way to the castle we had to stop at the farmers market, becuase all the
fruits and vegetables looked so fresh and delicious. With a tray of
strawberries we hiked up to the castle. Ljubljana Castle was built on a hill
from where we had a wonderful view over the city. It was free to visit the
castle courtyard, but to get inside the buildings and to get on top of the
castle tower we needed a ticket. After we toured the castle, which, honestly,
was not that interesting, we enjoyed a couple of drinks at restaurant.

Since it was already past noon, we got hungry and decided to get lunch at
Barbarella, from where we had the delicious vegan cakes yesterday. Luckily we got a
table right away and soon we ordered our food. I got the burger, Claudia had
the quiche and for dessert we got two different cakes. Everything was really
good. Afterwards we just strolled around the Old Town and checked out some
stores. Since it got really warm, we decided to take a break at the hotel.
There we refreshed a bit and later we found a lovely courtyard with bars and
restaurants, where we got some beers while enjoying the lovely weather. For
dinner we went to Abi Falafel. The portions were huge, we couldn't finish them, but the falafels were
fantastic. Before returning to the hotel, we had another couple of drinks at
an outdoor bar.
