Cortina D'Ampezzo
Sunday - September 14th 2025
After the wedding Claudia and I extended our weekend and drove to Toblach in
South Tyrol. Along the way we stopped in Cortina D'Ampezzo. The lovely village
will host the next Winter Olympic Games togerher with Milan and so we thought
it would be a good idea to check it out. We took a quick stroll through the
pedestrian areas and then we got some snacks and drinks at a nice outdoor bar.

Later we hit the road again and drove the remaining kilometres to Toblach.
Before we arrived at our hotel we had to stop at a beautiful resting place
from where we had a wonderful view at the famous Tre Cime mountain range.
Finally we made it to our hotel called
Patris. Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and once we had checked
in, we headed straight to the spa area to enjoy the lovely weather at the
heated outdoor pool. In the evening we went to Pizzeria Hans for dinner and
on the way back to the hotel we stopped for ice cream. With a glas of Aperol
Spritz we called it a day and enjoyed a relaxing evening.
