Kitzsteinhorn

After we got up we headed downstairs for breakfast before packing our stuff
and driving to the ski resort. First we had to get our tickets and then it
was time for our first skiing day of the season. For today we chose the
Kitzsteinhorn Glacier Ski Resort
about 3000 metres above sea level and therefore it guarantees snow
reliability from October to May. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good, but
we made the best out of it. At least thereweren't too many guests and so the
slopes weren't crowded at all. When the snowfall got heavier we decided to
check out the Top of Salzburg attraction and to get a drink at the
restaurant.

Although the ski resort isn't the biggest, it still offers plenty of
possibilities for all kinds of skiing skills. Since the slopes are very high
up in the mountains the winds can get pretty strong since there are no trees
to protect us. Luckily the weather got better and we headed out again. Later
we stopped at the Alpincenter Restaurant for lunch. Claudia and I only got a
snack, a soup and a pizza. In the afternoon we called it a day and took the
cable back to the valley.

Since we only had a snack for lunch, we stopped at McDonald's for a McPlant
with fries and a Coke. Then we did some shopping in Zell am See before
driving back to our hotel. There we relaxed a bit and got ready for the
evening. First we enjoyed a couple of drinks at the beautiful
Weitblick Lounge
in Kaprun and then we had dinner at the same restaurant like yesterday. Back
at the hotel we enjoyed a relaxing evening in front of the TV.
