Disney 100 Exhibition
Saturday - June 17th 2023
Since breakfast wasn't included in our hotel package, we took the metro into
the city and got coffee at Starbucks and pretzels filled with cream cheese at
a nearby bakery. Afterwards we headed to Munich Olympia Park, because we had
tickets for the
Disney 100 Exhibtion
celebrating 100 years of The Walt Disney Company. Needless to say, as huge
Disney fans we had to see it. The exhibition showcased many artifacts from the
Walt Disney Archives, like paintings, movie props or artworks from the
themeparks. It also gave a good overview on the history of Disney and all We
spent quite some time there and it was definitely worth the money.

After we were finished with the exhibition, we stopped at
Schillinger's Swing Kitchen
for vegan burgers for lunch. A delicious lunch later we just strolled through
Munich until we ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe again. There we had a couple of
drinks and decided to get dinner there as well. Claudia opted for the nachos
while I got the plant based burger with fries. Later we took an evening walk
through the inner city where some kind of street festival was going on,
before heading back to the hotel.

Returning Home
Sunday - June 18th 2023
After we got up, we packed our belongings and checked out. For breakfast we
took the train into the city and stopped at Starbucks for coffee and at a
bakery we got the pretzel filled with cream cheese again. Since it was already
very warm, we decided to drive home instead of spending more time in
Munich.
